While it’s commonly believed that Cupid and Eros are two names for the same god, they are in fact colleagues, each the god of love in their respective pantheon. They still match up mortals and do their best to stem the tide of infidelity and divorce, but besides their common mission they are as different as night and Day. Cupid is the original “nice guy”; sweet, charming, but constantly in the “friend zone”. Eros on the other hand is sexy as hell, and irresistible to anything with a pulse—Mortal, God, or anything in between. He’s the ultimate romantic, she’s the ultimate personification of passion and unbridled sensuality.
The show follows Cupid and Eros as they go about their job, all the while trying to figure out for themselves what this thing they create in the world really means, and how to find it when a heart tipped arrow just doesn’t seem to do the trick.

Enter, The Silver Lake Badminton and Adventurers club, a group of East side scenesters dedicated to tackling the cases no one else is cool enough to know about.
The show follows Josh and Jeff, current heads of the crime solving committee within SLBAAC, as they get their Perry Mason on and try to solve the cases that come their way. When they need an extra hand they’re aided by Josh’s girlfriend Aliza, and other members of SLBAAC whose special skill sets and knowledge bases come in handy.
Armed with razor sharp instincts and impeccable taste in obscure indie rock Josh, Jeff and the rest of SLBAAC are the East Side’s last line of defense against ever encroaching chaos.
Created by Matt Smith and Avi Glijansky for the Celebrate the Web IV: Raising the Bar Web Pilot Festival, the show went onto win the Judges Prize as well be featured on BoingBoing.net
