HIGHWAY 9 PICTURES is the production banner of Los Angeles-based filmmaker Avi Glijansky. 

Along with a regular group of collaborators, Highway 9 creates short films and web series that always maintains a strong focus on character and genuine human emotion.

Weekly cocktail recipe show created as a spec for lifestyle brand sponsorship

The Social Drinker was primarily created as a "just for fun" collaboration between myself, and Highway 9 regulars Jo Bozarth and Justin Janowitz. While we didn't seek sponsorship before shooting the initial 9 episodes, we intentionally sought to create an environment where organic collaboration with brands would be possible.  Since the first batch of content was released, we've been in contact with reps from several companies about teaming up on future episodes.

While Jo hosts most episodes by herself, we did want to invite friends on occasionally and allow for the chance to interact with celebrity guests.  The above episode, our 3rd, features our good friend (and guest star in Cupid & Eros) Bradford Anderson of General Hospital.
